Any tree can be a Christmas tree if you yell at your family around it. 🎄🐈
It’s not about the decorations. It’s not about the presents. It’s about gathering your loved ones around a tree and continuing the time-honored holiday tradition of losing your patience with the people you love most.
Whether it’s an elaborately decorated Fraser fir, a sad little artificial tree from the attic, or a random pine tree in the backyard, the true spirit of Christmas is alive and well as long as someone is raising their voice about something completely unnecessary.
This funny Christmas ornament features an adorable vintage-style kitten dressed in a festive Santa outfit, happily decorating a Christmas tree with colorful ornaments and garland. It’s the picture of wholesome, old-fashioned Christmas cheer.
And then there’s the caption.
With its nostalgic mid-century Christmas card aesthetic and hilariously dysfunctional holiday message, this ornament is perfect for anyone whose family gatherings tend to involve a little more yelling than caroling.
Part of Reverie’s Merry Crisis collection, this ornament celebrates the beautifully chaotic side of the holidays: family arguments, overstimulated relatives, passive-aggressive comments, and the annual tradition of someone dramatically announcing that they’re never hosting Christmas again.
Because Christmas isn’t a place. It’s a feeling. And sometimes that feeling is irritation.
Perfect for:
- Anyone whose family celebrates Christmas at an elevated volume
- The sibling who always gets blamed for starting arguments
- Families who communicate primarily through yelling across rooms
- Millennials who grew up with chaotic family Christmas gatherings
- Friends who appreciate dark humor and dysfunctional family jokes
- White elephant exchanges and funny stocking stuffers
- Anyone who’s ever heard, “We’re going to have a NICE Christmas this year!”
Peace on Earth. Goodwill toward men. Please stop arguing about the thermostat.
