Hope I get serotonin for Christmas. 🎄💊
Dear Santa,
I’ve been pretty good this year. I’ve paid my bills (mostly), answered my emails (eventually), and only had a few minor existential crises. So this Christmas, I’m keeping my wish list simple.
I’d like some serotonin, please.
Not another candle. Not a gift card. Not a decorative throw pillow. Just a little of that sweet, sweet brain chemistry everyone keeps talking about.
This funny Christmas ornament features an adorable vintage-style kitten dressed in a festive red coat and bonnet, cheerfully playing her little accordion while quietly hoping that Santa can deliver something a bit more useful than another pair of socks.
With its nostalgic Christmas card aesthetic and painfully relatable message, this ornament perfectly captures the experience of trying to summon holiday cheer when your brain has apparently decided to take the entire season off.
Part of Reverie’s Merry Crisis collection, this ornament celebrates the less-than-magical side of the holidays: seasonal blues, emotional exhaustion, and the annual tradition of convincing yourself that maybe this Christmas will finally feel like the ones in the movies.
Because all I want for Christmas is a functioning neurotransmitter situation.
Perfect for:
- Anyone whose Christmas wish list includes a little emotional stability
- Millennials and Gen Z with a dark sense of humor
- Friends who appreciate mental health humor
- The perpetually exhausted and chronically overwhelmed
- White elephant exchanges and funny stocking stuffers
- Anyone who’s ever wished Santa could bring them a little dopamine, too
All is calm. All is bright. My serotonin levels remain a mystery.
