The magic of a German Christmas market, captured in a candle.
It’s a December evening in Dresden, Germany, and the historic Striezelmarkt is glowing beneath the winter sky. Wooden market stalls are dressed in evergreen garlands, golden lights illuminate the cobblestone square, and the market’s magnificent Christmas pyramid turns above the festivities. The air is filled with the comforting aromas of holiday spices, sugared confections, and freshly baked Christmas treats.
Inspired by Dresden’s centuries-old Christmas traditions and the installation of its iconic Christmas pyramid in 1997, Christmas Market captures the warmth and nostalgia of wandering through a European holiday market with something sweet in hand.
Fresh green leaves, juicy peach, and tart cranberry open the fragrance with a bright, festive freshness. Warm cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg follow, recalling the spiced pastries and traditional holiday sweets found throughout the market. As the fragrance settles, rich praline, creamy coconut, and soft vanilla create a comforting sweetness reminiscent of roasted nuts, delicate confections, and the irresistible treats tucked inside paper bags.
Warm, inviting, and just a little magical, Christmas Market brings the charm of an Old World Christmas into your home—no passport required.

A Little History
Dating back to 1434, Dresden’s Striezelmarkt is considered Germany’s oldest documented Christmas market. Named for the traditional Christmas bread that would eventually become known as Dresdner Stollen, the market has welcomed generations of visitors seeking handmade gifts, festive treats, and the unmistakable magic of the holiday season.
In 1997, the market introduced its towering wooden Christmas pyramid, which became one of its most recognizable landmarks. Decorated with traditional figures and illuminated against the winter sky, the pyramid embodies the craftsmanship and holiday traditions of Germany’s Ore Mountains region.
Our Christmas Market candle celebrates that moment in Dresden’s history—a glowing winter evening filled with centuries of tradition, the sweetness of holiday baking, and the simple joy of Christmas.
Candle Care
For the best experience, trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn to help prevent tunneling. Never burn for more than four hours at a time, and discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.
