Sunshine, sweet nostalgia, and a little slice of paradise.
It’s 1962 in Palm Springs, California. The desert sunshine pours through the windows of a pastel-colored kitchen, palm trees sway lazily against the San Jacinto Mountains, and a freshly baked lemon meringue pie sits cooling on the counter. Somewhere outside, a swimming pool sparkles beneath the afternoon sun, and the only thing on the agenda is deciding whether to have another slice.
Inspired by the sun-soaked glamour and easygoing charm of midcentury Palm Springs, Lemon Meringue captures the irresistible sweetness of a classic American dessert.
Bright, tangy lemon brings a cheerful burst of citrus, softened by the rich sweetness of silky lemon curd. Fluffy, lightly toasted meringue adds an airy, sugary warmth, while buttery pastry and a whisper of vanilla round out the fragrance with the comforting aroma of homemade pie.
Sweet, sunny, and delightfully nostalgic, Lemon Meringue is a little reminder that some of life’s best moments are the simplest ones—especially when there’s pie involved.

A Little History
During the 1950s and 1960s, Palm Springs became synonymous with California’s glamorous desert lifestyle. Hollywood stars, entertainers, and vacationers escaped to the Coachella Valley for its year-round sunshine, sparkling swimming pools, and striking midcentury modern architecture.
By 1962, Palm Springs was firmly established as a fashionable desert retreat, where colorful kitchens, backyard entertaining, and leisurely afternoons embodied the optimism of midcentury American life.
Meanwhile, lemon meringue pie had long been a beloved American dessert, with its combination of tart lemon filling, fluffy meringue, and buttery crust appearing on family tables and diner counters across the country.
Our Lemon Meringue candle imagines those two worlds coming together: a sunny Palm Springs afternoon, a homemade pie cooling in the kitchen, and the simple pleasure of having nowhere else to be.
Candle Care
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn to help prevent tunneling. Never burn for more than four hours at a time, and discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.
